THE JENWAY RANGE OF ION METERS

There are currently 2 Ion Meters available from Jenway, the Model 3205 Premier Portable pH/Ion Meter, and the Model 3345 Laboratory Research pH/Ion Meter. A brief summary of the instruments is outlined below, but further details can be found on any instrument by following the link to the instruments individual page.

  • The Model 3205 pH/Ion Meter Analysis package provides a system that is dedicated to the rapid, easy and reliable determination of six ions which are of particular interest to those involved in water analysis and environmental testing. A selection of Combination Ion Selective Electrodes are available for use with the Model 3205, and are unusual in that they have very predictable temperature characteristics making it possible to incorporate accurate Automatic Temperature Compensation algorithms into the consumables. The Combination Ion Selective Electrodes available are Ammonium, Calcium, Chloride, Fluoride and Nitrate. The Model 3205 pH/Ion Meter can read between -2 and +16.00pH and utilises a 114 x 128 dot matrix Liquid Crystal Display.

  • The Model 3345 Laboratory Research pH/Ion Meter contains an array of features expected of a laboratory instrument, above those offered by the Model 3205 Premier Portable pH/Ion Meter. The Model 3345 Laboratory Research pH/Ion Meter features two independent input channels for both sensor and temperature monitoring, and using a 240 x 128 dot matrix Liquid Crystal Display can simultaneously display primary and secondary measurements. Calibration is either 1,2 or 3 point for pH, or 1,2,3,4 or 5 point for Ion calibration. Set-up menus are provided to give easy access to all options, and the instrument can be operated in any of six languages (English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese or Spanish). The Model 3345 Laboratory Resarch pH/Ion Meter can read between -2 and +19.999pH, between -1999.9 and +1999.9mV and between 1 x 10-9 and 9.99 x 109 concentration. The Model 3345 Laboratory Research pH/Ion Meter is also capable of incremental methods and is programmed to make the calculations necessary when carrying out Known and Sample Addition and Subtraction, and Multiple Sample Addition.
