Jenway PFP7/C Clinical Flame Photometer

The Jenway Model PFP7/C is a low temperature, single channel Flame Photometer, designed for the routine determinations of Sodium (Na) and Potassium (K). Additional filters are available for the measurement of Lithium (Li), Barium (Ba) and Calcium (Ca).
The instrument is fitted with automatic flame failure detection for user safety, making it ideal for use in clinical, industrial and educational applications.
The Model PFP7/C is designed specifically for use in Clinical applications. The in-built lineariser circuitry enables readings of both Sodium and Potassium, at the normal clinical serum concentrations, to be directly displayed in mmol/l. Serum samples need to be diluted 200:1 or 100:1 prior to presentation to the flame photometer. To enable this to be carried out efficiently Jenway are able to offer the Model 8225 Diluter.
There is also an industrial version of this instrument, the Model PFP7.
