The interface cradle, for use with the Premier Portable range, is fitted with a 25 way D connector which allows the use of industry standard serial cables suitable for use with most IBM compatible PCs and serial printers.

An optional interface kit is available to cope with the most commonly encountered cable requirements. The interface cradle comes complete with a consumables package which facilitates the downloading of data to IBM compatible PCs by writing to a user specified file in ASCII text format.

This can be incorporated into a spreadsheet, printed out via the PC or used by another program for statistical analysis. A simple menu selection permits the output of all the stored data in one transmission.

40 COLUMN PRINTER

Jenway offer a battery / PSU operated 40 column RS232 impact mechanism printer designed for use with a number of our products. For the Premier Portable range of products (the Models 3205, 4200 and 9200) the printer connects to the serial port of the interface cradle. For the remaining instruments the printer connects directly to the bi-directional RS232 port. The displayed readings can be downloaded at any time, allowing a permanent record of results. Power is supplied via integral rechargeable batteries. An adaptor / charger which, with pre-selection, can be operated from all mains supplies, is supplied with the unit. Paper rolls are standard size and are readily available from your local supplier.
