Lamps are available in various envelope shapes with the emission window in the side wall, projecting from it or as an axial (or 'end-on') configuration. Additionally, the arc aperture can be made in different sizes either as a circle or slot to match the requirements of the original equipment manufacturer.

Warranty

Spectronic Deuterium Lamps are guaranteed to operate within the stated performance characteristics over the entire range of 200 - 370nm for a period of 6 months from the date of despatch or the number of hours shown below. This is a full replacement warranty but requires the lamp to be returned to Spectronic for evaluation, post paid. Typical life is defined as the hours at which the lamp intensity falls to 50% of its original value at 280nm. Falling light levels will generally lead to increased noise, however, the point at which the lamp becomes unusable is specific to each application.
